Will AI replace biologists? Nobody can tell you that from a job list, and this page does not try. What the list shows: today 53 open roles on 8 platforms pay biologists to write, check and grade the work AI models attempt in their field.

What the studies say

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects, for the closest occupation it counts, change in employment from 2025 to 2035: Biological scientists up 6.7% (Employment Projections, Table 1.2, published 27 August 2026). That is a different list from the roles above, which ask for biologists to help train AI models. The BLS warns that its numbers do not capture the uncertainty of predicting the future. The table is BLS Table 1.2. For the wider picture, see Will AI replace your job?, with the studies behind the video.
