Short version

Some links on this site are referral links. If you sign up through one and meet the platform's conditions, the site operator may receive a reward from that platform. It costs you nothing extra. Every such link is marked next to the button.

Why we say this

In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission expects a clear and visible disclosure when a link can earn money for the person who shares it (FTC guidance). We follow the same standard for all visitors.

Which platforms have referral programs

Terms differ and can change. These are the program terms we read. Whether this site actually uses a referral link for a platform is a separate question, answered by the generated list in the next section.

  • micro1: up to $3,000 flat per hire, paid after the referred person completes 10 hours (referral program page). The referral terms say a W-9 or W-8 form may be required and that micro1 may withhold or reverse payouts "for any reason or for no reason" (terms, last updated 24 September 2026).
  • Terac: 20% of the referred person's pay, capped at $1,000 (policy).
  • Mercor: 20% of the referred person's earnings, capped at 4 times their hourly rate (terms). We do not list Mercor jobs.
  • Mindrift: $7 after the first approved hour of video, per its Referral Guide, not independently confirmed (Referral Guide).

For other platforms, we have no verified referral terms. The list below is the source of truth for which links on this site are referral links today.

Where referral links appear on this site

Generated from the site's referral list at each build. Every one of these links carries the referral mark and a disclosure next to it. Reward terms are the platform's, can change, and are not a promise to anyone.

  • micro1: the "Apply on micro1" button on the micro1 page and the apply buttons of most micro1 listings (the ones micro1 flags for referral), and the micro1 links in guides. micro1 may pay this site if a referred candidate is hired and completes the first hours of work. The candidate's pay is unchanged. Terms read on 11 October 2026.
  • Terac: the "Apply on Terac" button on the Terac page. Terac's referral policy pays the referrer a share of what the referred person earns, capped per person. The referred person's pay is unchanged. Terms read on 11 October 2026.
  • Outlier: the "Visit Outlier" button on the Outlier page. Outlier may pay the referrer a bonus per referral; the link has a limited number of uses and an expiry date. The referred person's pay is unchanged. The link itself expires on 28 October 2026. It can be used 50 times. Terms read on 11 October 2026.
  • Alignerr: a link to the "Senior Software Engineer" role on the Alignerr page. Link to one specific Alignerr role. Alignerr's referral reward terms are not verified by this site. The applicant's pay is unchanged. Terms read on 11 October 2026.

What it does not change

  • Which jobs we list: listings come from public feeds.
  • What we say about a platform: pros, cons and doubts stay in, including for platforms where we may earn a referral.
  • The rate shown: only the rate the employer published.

What you should know

A reward depends on the platform's rules, and the platform decides whether to pay it. We make no promise to you about work, pay or acceptance. Read each platform's terms before you sign up. You can also go straight to the platform's own site and skip our link.
