What the studies say
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects, for the closest occupation it counts, change in employment from 2025 to 2035: Lawyers up 4.7% (Employment Projections, Table 1.2, published 27 August 2026). That is a different list from the roles above, which ask for lawyers to help train AI models. The BLS warns that its numbers do not capture the uncertainty of predicting the future.
