AI Work Central earns from referral links on some platform pages. If you join a platform through one of them, it may pay us a referral fee. Each of these links has a mark next to it.
Which platforms
- micro1: some links to micro1
- Terac: some links to Terac
- Mercor: some links to Mercor
- Alignerr: the link to its Senior Software Engineer role
- Turing: the link to its Senior Software Engineer - AI Evaluation / Coding Agents role
- Wise: a link in some guides about getting paid. Wise is not an AI training platform, and not every platform pays through it; it may pay us a commission if you sign up through that link and complete a qualifying transaction.
How it works is in the referral disclosure.
Platforms with no referral link
These platforms have no active referral link on this site, so we are paid nothing when you join them. A labelled Sponsored place is separate and is explained in the referral disclosure. They are listed, ordered and described in the same way as the others: how the lists are ordered is under How we rank roles, below.
- 10x Team
- Anyone AI
- Appen
- DataAnnotation
- G2i
- Handshake AI
- HumanSignal
- Innodata
- Meridial
- Mindrift
- Outlier
- Remotasks
- RWS TrainAI
- Scale AI
- SME Careers
- TSMG
- Volga
- Weekday
- Welocalize
- xAI
How we rank roles
The lists open with the newest roles. Visitors outside the US, the UK, Canada and Australia see first the roles open in their country, Worldwide roles included, in the lists and in the best-paid expert roles; the country comes from the connection, for that page only. Sorted by pay, the highest listed pay comes first. In For you and in the weekly email of roles, the roles that fit your profile best come first, then the best paid. Between roles that are equal on all of that, one with our referral link may come first. The AI Training Pay Index, the best-paid expert roles, the filters and New today never use referral links, and the places a platform pays for carry the word Sponsored.
The Pay Index never uses them
The AI Training Pay Index, its method and the press page carry no referral link, and the site checks this at every update. Their figures come from the listed rates of every platform this site reads, with or without a referral link, by the same method.
The Pay Index has one edition a month, published on the first business day of the next month. Edition of October 2026, published on 2 November 2026; the next one comes out on 1 December 2026. Until 2 November 2026 the Pay Index shows the edition so far.
