How language roles work
A language role asks for native or near-native skill in one language, usually plus English. The work is the same as other AI training, done in your language: rating and correcting AI answers, writing prompts and model answers, transcribing audio, recording your voice or checking translations. Some roles also want a dialect, a field such as science or law, or knowledge of local culture.
The figures below are counted from the job pages of the platforms this site follows, on 26 October 2026, and change every day. The links in each section open the current list.
Arabic
49 open roles ask for this language, and 12 of them list an hourly rate in US dollars. The middle half runs from $9.75 to $31.27, with a median of $15. The roles come from Appen, Mercor, Meridial, RWS TrainAI, SME Careers, TSMG and Welocalize. Some roles ask for one dialect, so read which one. Others ask for speakers of the language with a science, maths, medical or coding background.

How to apply for a language role
- Match the country and the dialect. Many roles name one country.
- Apply on the platform itself. Each role on this site links to the platform's own page.
Other languages have their own pages too: browse all 2900 roles and use the language filter.
What to watch out for
- Some language roles pay per task, per recording or per hour of audio, not per hour of work. Check the unit on the listing.
- Never pay to join. The US Federal Trade Commission advises walking away from anyone who asks for an upfront fee for a job.
- A stranger on WhatsApp or Telegram who offers easy money for liking videos or rating products is running a scam, in any language.
