micro1 is looking for Passport Acceptance Agents to help evaluate and improve AI systems on passport topics. You’ll use your front-counter experience to check that questions sound like real applicants and that answers are correct and useful. Accuracy comes first. No AI experience is needed; your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Review sample passport questions and flag any that don’t sound like what real applicants ask.
- Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on new applications, renewals, and replacements, including forms, fees, and processing options.
- Cover identity and citizenship documents, photo requirements, and applications for minors in your rubrics.
- Evaluate AI-generated answers against your rubrics, flagging errors, omissions, and outdated guidance.
- Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.
Required Qualifications
- Current or recent passport acceptance agent designation (post office, county clerk, library, or similar)
- 1+ years helping the public with passport applications
- Working knowledge of forms, fees, ID and citizenship documents, and rules for minors
- US-based
- Able to start quickly and commit 20-30 hours/week
- Clear, precise writing
Nice to Have
- Experience with lost, stolen, or damaged passports and name changes
- Experience creating guides, checklists, or training materials
- Experience helping a diverse range of applicants, including rural and non-English-speaking customers
